Lemesos Old Town
Lemesos Old Town collection is drawn from life, in black pen ink — door by door, balcony by balcony, in the presence of the thing itself. The pen lingers where the eye catches: stone worn by decades gone past, wood worn by the aggressive Cyprus sun, in streets that no longer ask to be noticed. What these drawings keep is not a record but a memory — a past already slipping out of time, held a little longer in ink.

Abstract painting is where the work is least bound to the piece seen. Colour, mark and surface follow the mood of the day and the turn of the season — the restraint of winter, the weight of summer light — and each picture is allowed to arrive on its own terms.
